<p><STRONG>Metta World Peace, apologizing for foul<BR>to James Harden</STRONG><BR>Image Credit: Lakers.com video</EM><BR><P>As reported earlier, <STRONG>Metta World Peace</STRONG> made a successful dunk with 1:39 remaining in the second quarter of the game between <STRONG>Los Angeles Lakers</STRONG> and <STRONG>Oklahoma City Thunder</STRONG> on Sunday night, but later threw an elbow that hit <STRONG>Harden</STRONG>‘s head.</P><P>“During that play, I just dunked on <STRONG>Durant</STRONG> and <STRONG>Ibaka</STRONG>. I got real emotional, real excited. It’s unfortunate that <STRONG>James</STRONG> had to get hit with an unintentional elbow. I hope he’s OK.” <STRONG>Metta World Peace</STRONG> was quoted telling to reporters after the game.</P><P>“The <STRONG>Thunder</STRONG>. They’re playing for a championship this year. I really hope he’s OK and I apologize to the <STRONG>Thunder</STRONG> and to <STRONG>James Harden</STRONG>. It was such a great game. It was unfortunate so much emotion was going on at that time. That’s it for today.” The 32-year old <STRONG>Lakers</STRONG> player added.</P><P>Apparently, <STRONG>Ron Artest</STRONG> spoke for only about 41 seconds and a <STRONG>Lakers</STRONG> official interrupted follow-up questions and did not allow him to answer them, but used his official <STRONG>Twitter</STRONG> account to further air his side.</P><P>“Hope <STRONG>James Hardin</STRONG> is ok… I remember when I hit by <STRONG>Marc Gasol</STRONG> the same way.. I was spitting up blood and a headache during the game…” <STRONG>Metta World Peace (@MettaWorldPeace)</STRONG> tweeted about 8 hours ago.</P><P>“I just watched the replay again….. Oooo.. My celebration of the dunk really was too much… Didn’t even see James ….. Omg… Looks bad” <STRONG>Metta World Peace</STRONG> added, with <STRONG>Lakers</STRONG> coach <STRONG>Mike Brown</STRONG> telling reporters that he did not see the incident at all.</P><P>“I don’t want any of my guys kicked out. If somebody gets kicked out in a big game, yeah, you’re disappointed. You want him to be on the floor.
