In a major step to prevent sex determination and female foeticide, the Haryana government announced on Wednesday that pregnant women will have to submit a photocopy of their identification proof at ultrasound centres as a pre-condition for undergoing the test. To check the menace of female foeticide, the government has announced an award of Rs 21000 to those giving information about any doctor conducting sex-determination tests in Haryana.

HAZING is it is being made to do something that humiliates, degrades, or causes emotional or physical harm regardless of their willingness to participate; just so this person can be accepted into their group.
